Healing
It can best be described as the channelling of healing energy into the recipient either by laying the hands directly onto the body or by transmitting it at a distance by visualisation. There are many different forms of this type of healing, each based on where the inspiration to heal is coming from. Many healers believe that there is some form of divine intervention in their work and some look to the spirit world or extra-terrestrial forces. Others still, look to scientific explanations or philosophies for an explanation while many just cite an intuitive need or 'gift'.
